There are many reasons why people come to our center
Most people who try the Method do so because they do not feel well. They come to us because of physical symptoms such as chronic headache or back pain, panic attacks or burnout or because they wish to make a fundamental change in life – e.g. change a situation which makes them unhappy or break a habit that bothers them. There are different forms of learning: a one-on-one process, groups, classes or workshops.
Living with intensity by taking responsibility
We have the ability to change many things if we take responsibility for who and how we want to be in any moment of our lives. If we dare to be ourselves, we start to provoke others: confrontations, different points of view, vitality, diversity and intensity become part of our lives. We gain personal freedom and well-being and can live a self-determined and exciting life, without having to conform to role expectations.
Trainer and Qualified Practitioner of the Grinberg Method®
Trainer & Qualified Practitioner of the Grinberg Method®
At the age of 12, I had an accident that made me cautious and anxious. I became less and less spontaneous and willing to take risks. Determined to overcome my fears, I started to try various methods and practices. With the Grinberg Method, I learned to allow the flow of fear in the body. And then, the intensity of life returned. In the year 2000, I received my diploma as a Qualified Practitioner of the Grinberg Method and have dedicated my professional life entirely to this work ever since.
My goal is to teach people how they can overcome self-imposed limitations in order to live an intensive and fulfilling life.
As a trainer, my work focuses on self-confidence especially for women.
The human body has fascinated me since my youth. During my studies in electrical- / control engineering, I specialized in the exciting field of biomedical engineering and worked for a long time in the development of medical devices. As part of our development projects, I had impressive encounters with patients who learned to reduce their movement restrictions through electrical stimulation or biofeedback. At the same time, my private interest in methods of holistic medicine increased. I step into self-employment and trained in Craniosacral Biodynamics. Mindfulness, presence and silence of this method have especially appealed to me as I practice Yoga, Qi Gong and Meditation since many years. I want to support my clients on their way of regeneration and in the development of their full potential and to show them possibilities to keep their bodies painless and flexible.
After six Grinbergsessions with Claudia Reiter I knew, that I want to learn this beautiful method. This was in 2014. Here I am now, working as a Grinberg-Method-Practitioner where it all started. In the time of studies I have learned to feel much more comfortable with my body, to listen to my heart and belly, as well as to my mind and to stay relaxed and focussed while changing many things in my life, that did not fit any more. What I love most about my work is to see how people discover themselves in new ways and become very clear about what they really want to reach in their live.
We also offer the chance to learn in groups, classes and workshops.
Practicing attention and body awareness
Learning to recognize and stop chronic patterns
At the beginning of a learning process, we jointly define a goal the client wants to achieve in life. Through various kinds of touch and goal-oriented instructions by the practitioner, the client learns to perceive her current state of being through the body in every session. The client experiences how she reacts in a repetitive way and how she keeps herself from reaching her goals in this way. Learning in this context does not happen through analyzing, understanding or explaining.Breathing and movement as well as practicing body attention between the sessions in everyday life are further tools the client can use to achieve her goal.
Recovering from operations, accidents and illnesses
In a recovery process, the goal is to recover from acute or permanent physical conditions or after operations. In the sessions, the client learns to stop her reactions to fear and pain in order to create the best possible basis for the body to fully use its ability to heal itself and make a fast and full recovery.
The number of sessions a client needs depends on the specific goal of the client.
Dear Claudia, I love doing the exercises! The workshop was really great and has given me so much. I regularly resort to what I’ve learned there. Right after the workshop, the biggest epiphany I had was that I really needed a job in which I could use my communicative abilities. And then, life happened and brought a new job to me: a friend called me and asked if I was interested in a position he thought would be perfect for me. I felt the same way about the job and I will start there in November.
Since October 2013 I join regularly with great enthusiasm the training “Improving Physical Ability” in the beautiful health center of Claudia Reiter . For my well being as enthusiastic mountaineer the multiple exercise program with the easy-to- learn exercises for the entire muscular system has increased noticeably my fitness after a short time.
The Grinberg Method and a change in diet have changed my life. Six years ago, I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome, which caused stomach cramps, panic attacks and chronic diarrhea. After years of consulting orthodox medical practitioners, acupuncturists and homeopaths, undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy, and trying many breathing exercises – with varying degrees of success – I ultimately ended up trying the Grinberg Method four years ago. With my practitioner, I learned that I can change things myself. I learned to trust myself and my body, to be grounded and powerful. Subsequently, the tension and muscle pains I had suffered from gradually lessened. I have been healthy and without pain for two years. And when I occasionally still get afraid of something, I know how to deal with the fear.
Not being able to breathe though my nose and particularly my blocked ears – all inevitable symptoms of a common head cold – frightened me and I developed a habit of putting myself in a state of panic. At some point, a slight tickling in the throat and the mere thought of the cold that it could entail made me panic. I was completely overwhelmed by this situation and felt helpless. In only a few intensive sessions with Claudia Reiter, I learned how to deal with such situations. Since then, fear and panic attacks have been a thing of the past for me and getting a cold has become nothing more than an uncomfortable incident to me. Thanks to Claudia, my quality of life has improved. Thank you very much!
